Crescent Communities, one of the busier developers in the Charlotte market (and a lot of other places), has another project in the works: Crescent Montford, which will include 337 apartment units and 18k SF of ground-floor retail at the intersection of Park Road and Mockingbird Lane in the Montford area, the Charlotte Business Journal reports.
Pfeffer University previously sold the five-acre site to Crescent, and then moved across the street to the Park Seneca. Spartanburg-based Johnson Development Associates had planned retail and multifamily for the site, but that fell through.
Other Crescent projects underway in Charlotte include Crescent Stonewall Station in Uptown, which will include apartments as well as a Whole Foods Market. The company is also at work on Crescent NoDa.
