Time Out Market In Boston's Fenway Neighborhood

The Fenway dining scene has exploded well beyond its historic standard of Fenway Park hot dogs and beer. A new food hall that opened this week at the building formerly known as Landmark Center is adding to the neighborhood’s delectable evolution.

The 25K SF Time Out Market at 401 Park Drive features 15 eateries by local chefs and restaurateurs, two full-service bars and retail in what was once a Best Buy. London-based Time Out Group and developer Samuels & Associates previously told Bisnow they were focused on creating a best-of-Boston dining and cocktail experience for visitors.

“Time Out Market Boston brings a new and unique experience — the next great food and cultural destination — to the city and one of its greatest neighborhoods, the Fenway,” Time Out Market CEO Didier Souillat said in a statement. “We are incredibly proud that Boston’s most outstanding chefs have accepted our invitation to join Time Out Market.”

James Beard Award-winning chef Tim Cushman and his wife, Nancy, owners of O Ya and Hojoko, have two kitchens at the food hall. Craigie on Main chef Tony Maws, also a James Beard Award winner, will bring a variant of his famous Craigie Burger to Time Out Market.

Chef Peter Ungár of Tasting Counter, Anoush’ella owners Nina and Raffi Festekjian and the Saltie Girl team of Kathy Sidell and Chef Kyle McClelland are also opening concepts at the food hall. James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schlow is opening two Italian venues.

The food hall is part of Samuels & Associates’ overhaul of what was once the Landmark Center into 401 Park Drive, which the developer is currently modernizing and expanding to include more lab space.
