Cool Office Space: Workbar@Staples

Something a little different this time: three Workbar co-working spaces are now open inside greater Boston Staples locations.

A Workbar Inside A Staples

Workbar is a membership-based co-working platform. It has 15 locations, but these are the first three Workbar@Staples locations. The idea is to offer workplaces for small business customers, independent professionals, startups or other members of a mobile workforce. The space might also give a competitive boost to the brick-and-mortar stores.

The three locations are in Danvers, Norwood and Brighton, and each is 2,500 SF to 3,500 SF, with a mix of workspaces, conference rooms and private phone rooms. The place has WiFi (as important as oxygen), natural light, and bottomless coffee and tea, which might be the most important productivity fuel available.
