Why the Seaport's a Restaurant Magnet

The more retail that opens in the Seaport, the hotter the market everyone's talking about performs. That's why we’re excited to explore what's happening at our fourth annual Boston Retail Real Estate Summit on June 24. (Register here.) Seaport restaurants have some of the highest sales volumes in Boston, says WS Development SVP of leasing Mark Roberts, who’ll be a panelist at our event. WS is developing 1.2M SF of retail space in Seaport Square with JP Morgan and Boston Global Investors. Two of its buildings are under construction—and two more slated to start in July—with a total of 300k SF of retail space. With development momentum gaining, it’s no wonder that Fortune 500 companies are following suit.
