The Latest Line From Gymshark

Gymshark, the Solihull-based sports clothing business founded by teenager Ben Francis, is to launch its first physical presence: a 55K SF gym and innovation hub.

Gymshark is launching the Gymshark Lifting Club which will combine working out and research in one funky location. There will also be photography studios, a 100-seat auditorium and links to the apparel firm's app.

The new facility will be close to its existing Birmingham base to create a new campus, Fashion Network reports.

The aim is to test new products and ideas, and the gym was designed by Oktra.

Gymshark sales are expected to reach £100M in 2019, after 300% growth in 2018. The brand regularly organises pop-up shops, but has no permanent retail footprint.

Francis founded the business with school friends, growing from a screen printing operation in a garage into a fast growing brand.
