Massive Industrial Building In Jessup Gets New Name And Agent

A 1M SF industrial building in Jessup has a new name and leasing agent.

JLL has been tapped as the exclusive broker for the property at 7600 Assateague Drive, which has been rebranded as the Mid-Atlantic Commerce Center.

The former Giant Food distribution site was called the Baltimore-Washington Logistics Center. AEW Capital Management and Manekin Corp. own the building, one of the largest Class-A industrial properties in the Mid-Atlantic. One of its key selling features is its proximity to Interstate 95. Manekin redeveloped the building last year with a 160K SF addition.

Manekin had formerly hired Cushman & Wakefield to market the property to retail, e-commerce and third-party logistics companies.
