| It was the Environmental Elements Corp HQ for more than 30 years but now stands empty, all the better for a makeover. (Also a perfect place for a bowling alley, though we concede that office is probably a higher and better use.) It will be rebranded Baltimore Gateway for its visibility from I-95 and position at the approach to Baltimore City for 180,000 cars a day (OK, so some of those are outbound). The lobby, common areas, and bathrooms will be modernized, and low-E windows will go in, as will a new HVAC. The $8M redo will deliver mid-year. |
