That's why ProLogis just completed a 471K SF, 10-year renewal with Saks Fifth Avenue at the Hickory Ridge Distribution Center. The retailer has used the facility for its e-commerce business for nearly eight years, investing significant capital in the building to keep its distribution operation competitive.
Mid-Atlantic VP and 20-year industry veteran Mark Levy says the metro?s labor force and proximity to major markets made the deal a no-brainer for Saks, with negotiations lasting for six months. Mark is pictured here at Georgetown U, where he's an adjunct professor. He also renewed Best Buy for 221K SF earlier this year, proving he can lease to stores catering to all genders.
