| Yesterday, Cassidy Turley's Bob Oare announced Konterra Realty is converting 6100 Frost Lane in Laurel into a charter middle school for the Chesapeake Math & Information Technology Academy. CMIT will occupy 35k SF of the 49k SF building but has rights to the rest of the space (it has the option to expand the building to 65k SF if needed). The Prince George?s County School System asked CMIT Academy to set up a school patterned after Anne Arundel County's Chesapeake Science Point Public Charter Middle & High School. It'll be operated by the same group that runs the school, Bob says. |
