GOOD TIME TO BE A GROCER

This morning, Greenberg Gibbons CEO Brian Gibbons told us he considers the Solo Cup office, manufacturing, and warehouse site his firm bought in August to be the premier site in Owings Mills, agrowing community with plenty of office but underserved by high-quality retail. Wegmans just signed on to be a 125k SF grocery anchor for the 400k SF Foundry Row at Owings Mills shopping center Greenberg Gibbons and Vanguard plan to build there. Solo (perhaps best known for supplying college kids with kegger cups) will vacate by the end of March, and then begins the demolition of its massive 2M SF. Brian hopes to have zoning changes completed by next October and to start building by the end of next year.
