It's Official: Equifax Consolidating, Bringing 600 Jobs To Midtown

Bisnow sources tells us Equifax has officially inked a deal for 100k SF at One Atlantic Center in Midtown, augmenting its presence in the submarket where it already is headquartered.

We were first to report the pending deal at the 1.1M SF West Peachtree Street tower here. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Equifax will consolidate various functions from its Northpark Town Center presence in Sandy Springs to be closer to the HQ at 1550 Peachtree St.

Called “Project Locomotive” it will move more than 600 jobs into Midtown. The paper reports that Equifax's Alpharetta operations will remain.

Equifax is now the latest in a host of big-name companies—many within the fintech community—that have either uprooted suburban locations or expanded in addition to their suburban locations for Midtown, including NCR, Worldpay, Sage Software and Kaiser Permanente, which made headlines by adding 900 jobs to the submarket with an IT campus at Pershing Point Plaza.
