Centennial Tower Hits the Market

Jackson Corporate Real Estate has put Centennial Tower on the selling block for an undisclosed sum.

The owner tapped CBRE's Will Yowell (here) and team to market the 36-story 650k SF tower at 101 Marietta St. The building has seen its tenant roster change in recent years into an all-star lineup, including The Hawks executive offices and The Atlanta Dream, as well as Turner Broadcasting System.

According to Colliers International, landlords have put up for sale or just recently sold more than 10 Class-A office properties, encompassing nearly 5M SF, including Two Ravinia Drive, Midtown Plaza, Tower Place 100 and Concourse Corporate Center (here). Still, this pales in comparison to 2006's banner sales year, when $4.8B and 30M SF of properties traded hands in Atlanta, including such big names as One Overton Park, One Atlantic Center, Platinum Tower, 1180 Peachtree, 191 Peachtree, Bank of America Plaza and Colony Square, according to Colliers.
