Carter Confirms 715 Peachtree Purchase

Carter has officially purchased 715 Peachtree St. The firm confirmed in a press release our report, adding that it "plans significant upgrades and renovations" to the 330k SF Midtown building just across from the Fox Theatre. While Carter did not reveal purchase price, sources previously told us the firm paid $50M, or some $142/SF, and were previously in talks with WeWork to occupy a portion of the building. Bank of America used the building for its credit processing unit, but vacated in 2012. The 10-story building has been vacant since.
