Whitehall Tavern Taking Halpern Smyrna Space

We caught up with Whitehall Tavern co-owners Bret Bauer (left) and Steve Shamatta (second from right) toasting to their second Atlanta location at Halpern Enterprises' new Belmont development in Smyrna along with Halpern's Benjamin Halpern (second from left) and John Brozovic (far right). The new tavern will open early 2016 and is the first retail tenant in the 48-acre mixed-use project on the former Belmont Hills Shopping Center site, which will include a 274-unit Wood Partners apartment complex, 153 David Weekley single-family homes and retail space at the intersection of Windy Hill and Atlanta roads.
