Luxottica's Third Distribution Facility In Mcdonough, A Year After It Opened A New Two-Story Warehouse

Milan, Italy-based Luxottica Group has inked a lease for 137,500 SF at 1650 Highway 155, a more than 200K SF distribution facility in McDonough.

Luxottica makes eyewear for Ray-Ban, Oakley, Giorgio Armani, Chanel, Coach and Michael Kors, and has facilities next door to 1650 Highway 155 that total nearly 1M SF, including a two-story distribution facility that opened in 2017.

Terms of the lease were not disclosed. Colliers International Atlanta Senior Vice President Lee Cardwell represented Luxottica while First Industrial Realty Trust Regional Director Corey Richardson represented the landlord.

Luxottica's McDonough facilities have played a critical role in fulfilling and shipping specialized lenses to LensCrafters stores within a week of an order, Luxottica CEO Massimo Vian told investors last year.
