A maker of turbojet engines is planning to build a $20M headquarters in Roswell.

PBS Aerospace has agreed to establish its North American headquarters at Tech Village North in Roswell, bringing at least 95 jobs to the area, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp announced Monday.
It plans to develop a facility for manufacturing the engines as well as research and development, according to the announcement.
PBS will also occupy the 64K SF warehouse at 1350 Northmeadow Parkway off Hembree Road near Ameris Bank Amphitheatre. Details on the size of the headquarters weren't released as of press time.
“We look forward to building our new Roswell factory, which will produce the world’s most advanced small turbojet engines designed to meet the needs of the U.S. Department of Defense,” PBS Aerospace CEO Erin Durham said in a statement.
PBS Aerospace manufactures turbojet engines and auxiliary power units, including high-speed drone and missile engines for the Department of Defense.
The new jobs are expected pay at least $150K annually, The Roswell Sun reported.
The company is a subsidiary of engineering company PBSGroup and has had a presence in the U.S. for more than a decade, leasing nearly 1,700 SF at Lenox Towers in Buckhead, according to CoStar information obtained by Bisnow.
PBS Aerospace is expected to reach full operation in Roswell by April, according to the release. Georgia Department of Economic Development Project Manager Haley Casola represented the state in negotiations with PBS.
Roswell’s incentive package includes a 10-year, phase-in tax abatement and ground lease option for its new facility, according to The Roswell Sun, which also reported that PBS considered sites in Texas and Florida.
“Atlanta has proven to be an exceptional base for our operations, offering access to an excellent education system, skilled workforce, robust infrastructure, and a thriving business environment,” PBS Aerospace Managing Director Tomas Koutsky said in the release. “The positive experiences and success in Atlanta have undoubtedly influenced our choice as they reflect Georgia’s ability to support our continued growth.”
