| We joined JLL's Gregg Metcalf for lunch at Davio's at Phipps, served by one of Atlanta's friendliest bartenders, Amanda Holochak. Gregg tells us that, at least in Buckhead, he's seeing those once-in-a-lifetime concessions starting to burn off. For instance, last year many incentives were strong enough that even for an office tenant whose lease was expiring in 2014, a new deal could still makefinancial sense. Fast forward to today and for the most part, tenants with leases expiring in 2013 is about the latest Gregg recommends to still save money overall on total lease costs. On a side note, Gregg tells us that he and his wife golfed nine holes on a date last week. Indeed the couple that plays together, stays together. |
