medical filter maker has helped First Industrial fill a College Park warehouse. Porex Corp inked  111k SF at 4071 Southmeadow Pkwy, using the facility to distribute products produced in its Fairburn HQ and plant, says NAI Brannen Goddard's Bob Burdell. Bob and NAI Brannen Goddard's Doug Steverson brokered for the tenant; King Industrial?s Wilson Covington repped the landlord.
We chatted with Bob about  industrial activity  in Atlanta for the rest of the year, and it's not all great news: Things will likely be quiet. ?I think tenants out there are taking a wait-and-see  until after the elections.? It's a common refrain we've been hearing across metro Atlanta, even though the industrial market has posted strong absorption gains this year. Still demand is out there, and there are deals to be had. For instance, Bob just  inked 89k SF deal for Roadrunner Transportation at Perimeter East Industrial Park, as well.
