Dublin, Ga., officials are so excited Mage Solar, a subsidiary of a large German concern, picked their city for its North American corporate campus, they bought it a 191K SF building. Imagine what they have in store for its first birthday.
 
The Dublin-Laurens County Development Authority acquired 720 Industrial Pkwy. and will lease it to Mage Solar. The price was $3.9M, and CBRE's Todd Barton repped seller First Industrial, according to Databank. The solar module maker announced in May that it had chosen Dublin, about 120 miles southeast of Atlanta, for its HQ and large manufacturing facility. The company, which will relocate from Alpharetta this month, says it will invest $30M  and create 350 jobs in the next five years.
