TOP GOLFING NORTHSIDE?

Anyone on the northside have a spare 12 acres? If so, you may be able to improve your golf drive.
 
We spoke with Shopping Center Group's Ruth Coan (above at a recent real estate event) who tells us she's seeking a 12-acre site for her client: Top Golf, an interactive driving range and high-end restaurant and adult entertainment facility. (Its golf balls have amicrochip that tracks precisely where the golfer hits them, which we already find entertaining.) This would make eight locations for Top Golf, a retailer that only enters into major metro markets, including Alexandria, Va., Chicago, and Dallas. Ruth tells us the company is zeroing in on the northern 'burbs, particularly in the Alpharetta/North Fulton County area where demographics are desirable.
