THEY’RE BUILDING WHAT?!

We snapped this quick pic yesterday 'cause honestly who would have thought we?d see new office development anywhere in metro Atlanta again? Well, here you are, ladies and gentlemen. Cox Enterprises has broken ground on its two-building, 600K SF office complex that is part of the consolidated Cox campus off of Peachtree Dunwoody Road, next to its recently acquired 9000 Central Park  office tower. The communications giant will use the new buildings to house its technology operations and other subsidiary divisions, says Cox spokesperson Elizabeth Olmstead.  Holder Construction got the GC assignment. Elizabeth says Cox should move into the new buildings by 2012. Until then, if your cable goes out, grab a shovel.
