THE DEAL SHEET: HE'S BAAACK!

The prodigal son has returned—after 18 years , Rob Stuart  is back at Cushman & Wakefield as  managing director of marketing  for the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
 
Rob (with Cushman & Wakefield's Atlanta chief John O'Neill) was most recently with Transwestern and is perhaps one of the best known CRE marketing pros in the city, working at Carter, C&W, Equitable/Lend Lease, Insignia, and CBRE. Rob tells us the opportunity was to join a ?bigger, global firm.? Plus, he's working again with many names from his past jobs, ?so there's a sense of coming back home.?
 
LEASES
 
Law firm Winter Capriola Zenner renewed 10K SF at One Securities Centre. Cresa Atlanta principal  David Rebenstein  brokered the deal. Jones Lang LaSalle's Jeff Bellamy  repped the landlord.

RG Real Estate's Ryan Goldstein  brokered MxSYS?s  4,300 SF lease expansion  at Crown Pointe.

Elof Hansson inked a 4,200 SF deal  at Governors Lakes, with RG Real Estate's Aaron Karasik brokering.
SALES
 
Marcus & Millichap?s  Tim Giambrone brokered the sale of a Chase Bank in Miami that set cap rate records for Chase Bank branches. The unidentified buyer from NY paid  nearly $6M for the 4,200 SF property at a  4.9% cap.

Newburger-Andes & Partners purchased an 8K SF Family Dollar store  in Rome for an undisclosed sum.

Bell Partners purchased Asbury Park, a 269-unit  apartment building on South Fulton Avenue in Hapeville?s Aerotropolis Center for an undisclosed sum. Jones Lang LaSalle's Derrick Bloom  and  David Gutting brokered the sale for the seller Oxford Properties.
 
PEOPLE
 
Erin Smith has been promoted to associate in both  business development  and  tenant rep  work at Cassidy Turley in Atlanta. Previously a marketing assistant, Erin secured a partnership with SunTrust Banks for Cassidy Turley.

Sending leftover food from its in-house restaurants to a compost plant is one of the initiatives that has earned Ten 10th Street LEED Silver  for existing buildings. The 422k SF Midtown tower also now saves 1.73M kilowatt-hours/year  and has a comprehensive water efficiency program.
