Gigi's Playhouse  inked a deal  at Amsterdam Walk with Gene Kansas Commercial Real Estate's  Michael Dinerman representing the landlord, Halpern, and Vantage's Chris Carter representing the tenant.

GK|CRE's Gene Kansas  and  Michael Dinerman  also represented the Atlanta History Center in its lease with Sons & Sons at 990 Peachtree. Michael and GK|CRE's also brokered the deal for the landlord Perennial Properties with Blu Ox at the Pencil Factory Shops.

Venture capital firm  Source Capital  inked a deal at 75 14th St (The Four Seasons building) for an undisclosed number of SF. GK|CRE's Gene Kansas (above from his camera phone, we know it looks like a work of art) represented the tenant and Transwestern's Max White brokered the deal for the landlord.

Architectural and engineering firm Pond & Co has  leased 38k SF at Peachtree Ridge in the Peachtree Corners office submarket. CBRE's Craig Goldberg  and  Sam Holmes brokered the deal for the tenant while Parkway Properties' David Horne represented the landlord.
 
Sales

The Shumacher Group's Harold Shumacher brokered the sale of a former Logan's Roadhouse restaurant at  3991 Highway 78  in Snellville to an individual investor from BB&T for  $550k. Harold also brokered the sale of 3446 Holcomb Bridge Rd, The Boulevard Diner, to the owners and operators of the restaurant, or nearly  $700K.

Parkside Partners recently purchased  1440 Dutch Valley Place, a 41k SF building along  The Beltline, in a shortsale for $2.7M. Tenants include Sparkfly and Qoppa Software. Parkside also will begin a more than $2M renovation of the building.
 
Accolades

Tvsdesign's principal Robert Balke, CDC facilities director George Chandler, CDC's  Dr. Thomas FriedenSarah Wiley and Turner Construction's EVP Ken Leach were on hand late last month for the ribbon cutting on the  final new CDC office building at its Atlanta Roybal Campus.
