Las Vegas might earn a new nickname this week: Sub City. Yesterday, word came out of ICSC's RECon that Quiznos is seeking 600 sites for corporate-owned stores. And today, Atlanta-based Bull Realty tells us—from Vegas—that Blimpie has hired the firm to help nearly double its presence in Georgia.
 
Bull founder and prez Michael Bull is in Vegas to work deals and spread word of the firm's new assignment. Bull's English Pope, who's leading the site selection effort, says Blimpie's Georgia expansion will include as many as 80-125 new sites across the state. Currently, Georgia is home to 128 Blimpie locations. A typical shop is about 1,500 SF and located in high-traffic areas with good lunch and dinner crowds. In our fair city, Blimpie is at Colony Square in Midtown and CNN Center downtown, among others.
