SMALL DEALS PERK UP

Even if the economy improves, it's going to be some time before Atlanta developers start using the ?spec? word to describe office development. That's the take from Greenstone Properties' De Little(who's still hunting deals). He's one of our panelists at next week'sBisnow State of the Market event at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead (tickets are going very fast, so get yours here). ?The perception is certainly better than two or three years ago,? De says of the local CRE economy. He's hoping this good mood becomes a ?self-fulfilling prophecy? that leads to actual economic improvement. What's encouraging in De's eyes is that we're seeing growth not only from big office users, but the bread-and-butters, with users in the 10k to 15k range growing for the first time in years. ?That's  more exciting than anything else to me.?
