Schwartz Joins Joel & Granot

Longtime Ackerman & Co rainmaker Ted Schwartz (here with his wife Cheryl) is moving on. This time, as a partner at Joel & Granot. We spoke with Ted, a 20-year commercial real estate vet, who tells us this move is a return for him to some extent: from '97 to 2002, Ted worked at Alan Joel Partners before being recruited by Ackerman. “Basically, it's an opportunity to go back and work with Alan and Danny and try to build up their boutique business,” he says. And what's more, it allows Joel & Granot to get more office tenant rep depth along the GA 400 corridor. “At the end of the day, I know who I am. I think I'm a local broker. I'm not a national broker.”
