Schmoozing In Buckhead Tower

We got some news during the coffee schmooze of our 3rd Annual Future of Buckhead event yesterday at Buckhead Tower. We met with Newburger-Andes' Steve Farrar and Metcalf Davis' Wayne Williams, complete with an arm in a sling. The avid biker crashed recently, breaking his collar bone and ribs, he tells us. (We miss work when we get a paper cut so kudos to Wayne.) And it happened just as he got home from an extended ride. "Other real estate professionals who have been responsible for bike lanes and other such improvements just look at you and roll their eyes."Marcus & Millichap came out in force yesterday, with Don McMinn, Zachary Taylor, Andrew Winston  and  Tyler Fish (here with Stafford Properties' Steve Edwards). Don just sold a McDonalds and a Krispie Kreme at Doraville Plaza and is still marketing the shopping center for sale, he says.We also chatted with our sponsor Allied Barton, here with  Mike Ricketts, Kevin Mueller, Ted Low  and  Bill Opppenheimer, who tell us the private security firm just  inked a deal to provide security at Daniel Corp's 12th and Midtown project.
