ELab Solutions has purchased 5009 Roswell Rd, a  36k SF office building in Buckhead for  over $5M  from Childress Klein, which redeveloped what was a  former apartment building into an office condo back in 2007. In turn, eLab plans to move its  corporate HQ and lab space. Lavista Associates? Rob Binion brokered the sale for the landlord while Avenue 5 Properties' Ryan Akly represented the tenant. The company will move from its Cobb County location and bring 75 new jobs to the area.
 
Speaking of Lavista, changes keep coming for the firm. First a move from Peachtree Corners to Buckhead. And now, it's hired former Carter and AMB vet Charlie Fiveash to lead industrial multi-tenant leasing endeavors. Above, Charlie, Will Grogan, David Pope  and Tom Hunter taking the camera to heart. (You can tell Charlie is the boss because he's graduated from the blue blazer.) ?We've done multi-tenant industrial leasing for years, but these guys are going to make it an absolute focus,? says Lavista?s  Tom Davenport. Lavista has  more than 2M SF of industrial properties under leasing and/or management, much of that focused on multi-tenant warehousing. Charlie inked a 128k SF renewal for UPS at AMB?s Forest Park property and a 122k SF renewal  for Newbreed Logistics. He's seeing the activity as fundamentals get better, ?but it's a slow climb out of this hole that we've been in.?
