RYAN CONE TAPS ACQUISITIONS EXPERT

Ryan Cone & Associates is getting ready to buy CRE. We met up with Ryan cone himself, who says the firm has partnered with Flashpoint Capital Partners' John Ward,  naming him director of acquisitions. (John has previously worked for Cousins and Americas Capital Partners.) The duo is looking to grab  distressed or value-add flex industrial and office properties in the Southeast, spending upwards of $50M for a single asset, Ryan says. "If you have access to capital the next few years will be a prime time to purchase existing product," he says. Their capital is derived from individual investors located in the Southeast, Ryan says. Most recently, Ryan assisted BB&T in selling 4100 Perimeter Park Dr., a 10.5k SF building in Dunwoody for  $735K. It was bought by Sterling Ledet and Associates, represented by NAI/Brannen Goddard's Bryan Craig.
