| Here?s a map with BeltLine development areas highlighted. Some,like University Avenue (#20), are in parts of town where there is mostly light industrial development. Heather tells us some businesses that are operating do not generate much tax revenue for the city, while other properties are vacant, so this area is ripe for new development. The hope is all BeltLine development will be multi-use. This doesn?t necessarily mean shops on the bottom with condos above; it just means that different kinds of development can coexist and make spaces more livable, Heather says. | |
