Congrats to Transwestern's Kristie Abney and Josh Baine  for winning the   leasing assignment for the Pavilion at Lake Hearn, a two-building 241k SF medical complex within walking distance of the hospitals at Pill Hill. Built in the early '80s and owned by Bentley Investments since '94, the property got a $6.5M  interior renovation last year (lobbies, elevator landings, hallways, and restrooms, and upgrades to building systems and security). And with flowers blooming, spring ain't a bad time to show the place.

Dr. Lawrence Cooper is a principal with Bentley, and keeps a management office onsite. ?Having an ownership group led by Dr. Cooper is a huge benefit,? Kristie tells us. ?As a former oncologist, he knows the services and amenities healthcare tenants need?  Real estate trivia: the property was HQ for Equitable Real Estate back in the 1980s, prior to that firm's acquisition by Lend Lease in '94.
