Congrats to Resource Atlanta's  Leslie Wright (in the hot pink) for her work in the 10-week, Man & Woman of the Year campaign, part of the Champions of Hope for Leukemia & Lymphoma Finale. Leslie says her personal fundraising goal at kick-off in April was $15K; her actual total: $17,430, thanks to the generosity of donors including the commercial real estate community. Leslie and Alston & Bird partner Michelle Henkel (long blue dress) were inducted into the ?10K for the Cure? club, an honor given for exceeding $10k in fundraising. Michelle also took home the title of Woman of the Year with $50k in donations. Leslie says Michelle has been a devoted fundraiser for the L&L Society for more than 10 years, with both parents victims of blood disease. Collectively, the 2010 candidates raised over $210K, topping last year's total of $130K.
