NEXT STEPS

Right now, it's all about the  next steps for those at John Hunsinger & Co. since the famed commercial real estate entrepreneur and former Georgia Tech fullback John Hunsinger passed away Oct. 24. Those left at his namesake firm are facing a few changes. John Hunsinger's Vivian Cushman says the procedures and policies already in place within the company will remain as is. ?He made it this far using those…and we'll try to continue on that way,? she says. But the firm did move from its old digs on Peachtree Road (pictured above and under contract with John Dewberry as we previously reported) to new offices at Piedmont Center in Buckhead. And the Hunsinger family will still have strong ties  to the firm. John's son,Jonathan Hunsinger, joined the company last year and will work under SVP Walter Boden in its brokerage arm, Vivian says. ?John was basically a mentor to us,? Vivian recalls of her boss of 14 years. ?Everything I learned in real estate I learned from him.?
