Nathan Anderson's Three Big Deals

NAI Brannen Goddard's dynamic industrial duo Nathan Anderson and Darren Butler brokered a handful of big industrial deals, showing an acceleration of activity in the Atlanta industrial market. (Either that, or people are leasing any building just to get out of the snow.)

Nathan and Darren captured Millennium Mat Co, the industrial flooring maker, for 257k SF at 3200 Shawnee Industrial Way in Suwannee for landlord Cobalt Capital Partners (Darren and Nathan are sandwiched between Cobalt's Bryan Morland and Mike Wenaas at a recent Las Vegas event). Taylor Commercial's Steve Taylor repped Millennium Mat. And Future Forwarding leased 140k SF at 4380 International Pkwy (another Cobalt property), with Hughes Commercial's Tommy Hughes brokering for the tenant.

Nathan and Darren also helped Delta Airlines land 84k SF at 4350 International Pkwy in Atlanta (with CBRE's Chris Irby and David Todd repping the tenant). “In 15 years, I've never seen the market this hot. I think it's just pent-up demand.” Each company needed to move to a larger space, but that's increasingly becoming difficult. That could lead to development, Nathan says.
