MERGER HAPPINESS

It's only been four months and already the merger with Lee & Associates is paying off for Dick Bryant (who merged his Bryant Real Estate Partners in October). Dick tells us his firm's had a steady stream of referral work from L&A, especially with the disposition of REOs locally. Dick adds that referrals alone have given the Atlanta office 1.6M SF in deals to work on this year, including the recent sale of 561 Martina Dr, a small retail property off of Piedmont Road purchased by a restaurant and sold by First Citizens Bank. Dick tells us he's seen a surge in industrial requirements, with more than 10.3M SF in deals scouting the market. ?I think [the recovery] is going to continue to be lead by the industrial sector.?
