Manhattan Knows Disease

Manhattan Construction Co didnt play chicken the other day when it held a groundbreaking (above, Gov. Nathan Deal was on hand)for the new Georgia Poultry Laboratory Network HQ at Gateway Industrial Centre in Hall county. Manhattan has been tapped to develop the $13.7M, 39k SF facility with biosafety levels 2 and 3 containment by summer 2014. Manhattan has past experience with infectious diseases: It's building the US Army Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) replacement facility in Fort Detrick, Md. It will contain the largest block of BSL 3 and 4 laboratory suites in the world.
