LANE'S NEW BIZ DEV GUNNER

Here's Lane Co.'s Josh Summers  conferring with Ka'Ren Sarvis over some marketing details. Josh (who came over from Riverstone Residential) was just hired as the company's managing director of business development  and acquisitions. One of his targets is to increase Lane's third-party mulitfamily management, especially among student housing in second- and third-tier markets. With the recent sea-change in apartment ownership in Atlanta, Josh says ?there's so many opportunities out there to pick up new properties.?
Speaking of Lane Co., if you're in the Lindbergh area soon, Lane will take your food. Literally. Sorelle Apartment Homes has a barrel set up to accept non-perishable food for the annual Atlanta Apartment Association Food-a-Thon, with donations going to the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Above, Lane's Wendy Wynne  and Kerwin Superville with the barrel decorated in tribute to Bob Marley. Lane will take donations at all its properties through Oct. 22.
