| We ran into Central Atlanta Progress' AJ Robinson at Downtown Development Day last week. AJ says he's seeing our beleaguered economy actually on the upswing. ?We're beyond the bottom. We're inching up,? he says. AJ is championing the transportation penny tax as well, saying it's ?the most imporant? vote for metro Atlanta in years. And he's also bullish on the new streetcar's east-west route, saying it will help feed both tourism and the downtown student population. ?It was never about [easing] traffic congestion.? |
