IHG'S EVEN FLOW

Intercontinental Hotel Group wants to toast to your health with a new hotel concept. (We prefer champagne, but we'll try new things.)
 
IHG VP Robert Ekman  gave us a peek at the hotel chain's new Even Hotels concept: a select-service hotel  with a focus on patron health, including a spa and ?significant? fitness facility. (That could just mean no elevators.) IHG plans to debut them—100 to 150 rooms each—in DC, NY and Boston, beginning in 2013. IHG has tagged Atlanta as an eventual market, Robert says. The hotel's rooms will be  priced  similar to a Courtyard or a Hilton Garden Inn.
