HTA BUYS AUGUSTA HOSPITAL

Healthcare Trust of America has purchased a long-term acute care hospital in Augusta. The REIT acquired the 80-bed, 72K SF hospital(pictured above), located next to the Medical College of Georgia, as part of a larger portfolio of hospitals all operated by Select Medical Corp well worth more than $102M. CB Richard Ellis' Lee Asher andChad Bodnar brokered the 217K SF portfolio sale for the seller, Inland America Real Estate Trust.
