How much is it costing PulteGroup to move its HQ to Atlanta? The home builder revealed that answer in a filing with the SEC this week: $58.5M. (Plus the cost of packing peanuts.) According to the filing, Pulte will pay $26M in employee severance, retention and relocation costs, $32M in lease termination and “other exit costs,” and $500k in “asset impairments." The company already incurred $15M last year in employee severance and retention, it reported. The remaining costs will come from now until 2015 as it moves into Capital City Plaza, where last year we captured Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Gov. Nathan Deal and PulteGroup CEO Richard Dugas during the company's move announcement.
