HOTEL DEAL SETS RECORD

Yes, careful readers, we know we already ran this picture of the InterContinental Buckhead, but we've got a new (and interesting!) angle on the sale of the hotel to Pebblebrook Hotel Trust. (Pebblebrook announced last week it paid $105M for the 422-room hotel). So what's the new scoop? The price is $250k per  key, making it the highest price  per key for a single asset hotel deal ever recorded in Atlanta, according to Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, which repped seller InterContinental Hotel Group. The overall price is the third highest this year  in the US, behind Hilton Minneapolis at $155M and the Hyatt Regency Boston at $112M.
