HOOTERS HIRES COLLIERS

We snapped Hooters downtown yesterday after hearing about the Atlanta-based restaurant chain's expansion plans. Puns are too easy, so we're going to play it straight, by mentioning plans to take the building to Class A status (up from DD). Hooters plans to increase its location count by 15% to 20% annually over the next several years. It's selected Colliers International as its preferred real estate provider, to identify new locations, negotiate lease terms, and provide advice on tactical planning for optimal branding exposure. (See? We could have made a joke about exposure, but we didn't.) Hooters currently has 455 locations worldwide, with restaurants in 29 countries on six continents.
