The legendary John Portman has many callings. Architect. Developer. Businessman. And now  Harvard University dignitary. Above, Portman Holding?s founder with Harvard Graduate School of Design dean Mohsen Mostafavi at a recent event announcing the founding of a  visiting professorship in architecture  program in his honor. The John Portman Visiting Chair in Architecture will bring international designers to the campus for up to three years.
