GWINNETT TAKEOVER

Step right up, folks—you've seen the rest, now see the freshest! Introducing Seefried Properties' newest leasing assignment:Gwinnett Park!

We met with Seefried's Doug Smith  and  Tanner Hicklin, who were just named by SVN Equities to lease its 1M SF  Gwinnett Park office distribution park in Norcross. And the timing couldn't be better for Seefried, given the company is seeing a spike in tenant activity along the southern Gwinnett I-85 corridor. ?Frankly, a lot of tenants are resisting going too far out,? Doug tells us. (They've all seen Jawstoo many times.)

Actually, Gwinnett Park is more than 80% leased (obviously not this space), but SVN was seeking to improve the overall occupancy. Doug says Seefried also has been active in leasing at other properties, including a 50k SF renewal  with Duravit at Northmont Distribution Center (tenant rep: Hailey Realty's  Jay Young) and a 58k SF renewal with National Nail at 555 Riverside Pkwy (tenant rep: Wiant Commercial's James Wiant) in Austell. As further motivation to get new deals done, Doug tells us his wife is due with their second little one  this coming June. Congrats!
