Grant Park Building Now A Movie Star

Lights! Camera! And now a recently-acquired Raulet property is getting some Action!
 
Raulet Property Partners has converted an 85k SF commercial building in Grant Park to a film and  TV production facility. Called Mailing Avenue Stageworks, the firm's  Paul RauletJohn Raulet, and  Tyler Edgarton invested in the vacant building at 1144 Mailing Ave this past summer for the purpose of marketing it to Georgia's booming entertainment industry.
 
John tells us he had been hunting for a good studio facility, given his experience in  scouting sites  for other film productions in Georgia. ?Certain specifications that the industry requires had previously made the right building  very difficult to find,? he says. Raulet officials say the facility is already being leased for a handful of months, but they're mum regarding what purpose. We hear through the grapevine that a movie called Last Vegas is in production there with legends Morgan FreemanKevin KlineMichael Douglas  and  Robert De Niro passing through.
