We snapped this of JLL market leader Clark Gore in his office, where we were digesting the good lunch we had at the Buckhead Club this week. Surprisingly, Clark says it's not beyond the realm of possibility that some developer, somewhere in Atlanta, could begin a new office project as soon as 2011: ?I?ve been shocked before,? Clark says. ?We have short memories. A year ago, lenders were saying they were in the market, but the terms they required didn't really say they were in.? Now lenders are getting competitive on terms to finance CRE here. Still, to start one today ?the stars would have to align perfectly? with institutional quality credit. |
