EDENS & AVANT SHOPPING 1010 P'TREE

A major East Coast retail investor may become the new owner of a modern Midtown landmark. Edens & Avant Realty is in talks to buy the 41K SF street-level retail center at 1010 Peachtree St., says Daniel Corp.'s Steve Baile. JLL's Kris Cooper has been marketing the property for a number of weeks, and earlier this month we reported that the sale of the property was close. Steve declined to say who else is in talks to buy the project at 12th and Midtown. (We previously reported that about  half a dozen parties expressed interest.) 1010 Peachtree's retail most recently garnered headlines as the flagship Atlanta location for CB2, the Crate & Barrel furniture retailer. At 73% occupancy, other retailers include Piola and Ra Sushi.
