DUNKIN' MORE DONUTS IN ATL

Vantage Realty Partners is having a big 2012: It put Tin Lizzy's at Cousins Properties' Emory Point; it repped JCT Kitchen's owners locating a sustainable fish house called The Optimist at 916 Howell Mill Rd; and Vantage's Chris Carter  had a second child  a couple of weeks ago. (Talk about a varied list of New Year's resolutions.)

The firm also just got tapped by Dunkin' Donuts to help it  locate more eateries in Georgia. We drank some coffee with Vantage's Brittany McCall  and Gene Rice  last week and chatted about what's been going on with the five-year-old firm. Gene says Dunkin' Donuts is seeking half a dozen deals (chocolate covered, and one extra with jelly) inside I-285 this year, a first phase of its  expansion  in Georgia: "They want to come in and get  A locations in A markets."

Gene says his firm also has been  inking office deals (particularly with loft office users). Recently, Vantage helped Cinnemassive Displays ink a 14k SF deal for its HQ at 150 Ottley Dr in Atlanta (above). And Gene says it helped Scoutmob's HQ ink a 9,000 SF lease at the Mean Street Lofts. ?Everybody's jumping back in the game. But the past two years, we survived on local groups that had the wherewithall to grow,? he says.

As young and plugged into the nightlife scene as Vantage brokers are, we asked Gene and Brittany where to grab a drink in Atlanta.Watch the video above to hear their Top 5 Places to Grab a Drink in Atlanta.
