DCT'S PLANS IN DOUGLAS COUNTY

DCT Industrial has its sights on a new site. (And like the Canadian mounties, DCT always gets its man.)
 
DCT filed plans with state regulators to develop a nearly 800k SF industrial park called DCT River West Distribution Center. Company officials did not return calls seeking comment, but according to the filing with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (which approves developments of regional impact), DCT plans a light distribution center off the west side of Thorton Road, south of Douglas Hill Road. In July, DCT also purchased a 77k SF warehouse  at 2440 Pleasantdale Rd (above) and Northmont Business Park.
